Store Fifteen - Mornington
This weekends road trip took us to Mornington on a beautiful warm sunny day, ripe for outdoor coffee. I didn't want to waste much time looking for a spot after such a long drive so relied on google reviews to identify our point of call... Store Fifteen.

The walk to the Store Fifteen was along the beach so by the time we found it I was in the mood for chilled outdoor setting with a relaxed vibe fit for the beach. Nothing about what we came across let us down on this front.
You are immediately drawn into a relaxed alfresco area and into the cafe highlighted by my favorite decor of weathered woods and industrial fittings. It says 'I'm on point what how coffee should be offered and we care about the coffee'. This look and feel seems to be the in vogue for hip coffee shops and I like it a lot.
The menu was deluxe, thats just the coffee list. I ordered a stock standard Latte that comes using the famous Dukes coffee, its a spicy flavour more than sweet, described on the website as 'rich and syrupy'. For seconds I couldn't resist the batch brew, a single origin Guatemalan bean that became the star of the trip. I usually avoid a straight black coffee but this was so easy to drink, by far the smoothest black coffee I have ever had, it was not bitter at all.... just tasty.
As for the rest of the menu, I managed to wash the coffee down with a cronut and muffin that made for quite the morning tea experience...
